Commercial and Domestic Floor Finishes
UK Flow Screeds Ltd use a flowing screed which is made up of additives, aggregates and a special binder mixed with clean water to produce a pumpable flowing screed.
It is designed to provide a smooth surface in both domestic and commercial buildings prior to floor finishes. It can be used bonded, un bonded or on floating floors with or without under floor heating
Drying time for screed is approximately 1mm per day, up to 40mm. Beyond 40mm, 0.5mm per day. Underfloor heating may also be used to reduce the drying time.
Screed products can receive foot traffic from 24 - 48hrs. After 48 hours the building must be properly ventilated.
Types Of Screed
Eco Screed
Eco Screed is the most widely used screed as it allows for fewer expansion joints than a traditional screed.
Eco can be pumped in at 200m2 per hour and with our pump we can reach distances of 70m and heights of 50m.
Thermio Screed
For a screed that will perfectly compliment under floor heating Thermio is one of the most popular choices.
Thermio can offer an increase in thermal emission value by 30% and can be installed 20mm above the under floor heating pipes increasing the performance of your under floor heating.
XTR Screed
XTR is the strongest screed designed to provide a smooth level surface in both domestic and commercial properties where higher than usual loads are expected. It is particularly suitable for application as a floating screed.
XTR is ideal for schools, healthcare and food retail etc as it is protein free so can't harbour bacteria.
